Juncos Racing’s headquarters are in Brownsburg, Indiana, U.S.A., just outside of the “racing capital of the world”, Indianapolis. The team also has a shop in Fort Pierce, Florida to promote year-round testing. Juncos Racing operates out of a state of the art facility which houses vehicles suitable for all levels of racing, from go-karts to open wheel Formula race cars. It is one of the few teams in the United States which offers a development program starting from racing go-karts to racing professional open wheel race cars. Our goal is to provide younger and older drivers alike with a foundation upon which they can build a career in motorsports. We offer two and three-day racing schools which cover theoretical and hands-on driving techniques. With your dedication and our expertise and advanced training techniques, we are confident that you will achieve and master the fundamentals of racing. |
Established in 1997 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Juncos Racing opened its doors as a full-service Formula Racing Team. Over the next 5 years, the team competed in various National Championships including the Formula Renault 1600 Championship, the Formula Renault 2000 Championship and the National Sport Prototype Championship of Argentina. In 2003, team founder and owner, Ricardo Juncos, felt there was a need to carry his knowledge and expertise to North America. In September of 2003, Juncos Racing opened its doors in Miami, Florida as a full service karting team.
The next few years proved to be successful beyond imagination as the newly formed Juncos Racing team captured 19 Local, Regional and National karting titles throughout North America. In 2008, Juncos Racing dedicated most of its time establishing and training its drivers and crew members in preparation of the much anticipated next step into the vast world of open wheel Formula Car Racing. |

In 2009, Juncos Racing entered into the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear which proved to be a challenging, yet successful season resulting in multiple wins, second in the driver’s championship and third in the team championship. 2010 saw the second-year team making new records, winning the driver’s championship and finishing second in the team championship, turning out to be a dream season for the entire team. 2011 delivered even more wins and podium finishes to add to the team's resume, and in 2012, the Mazda Road to Indy team expanded its operation to involve cars in both the Star Mazda Championship and Firestone Indy Lights series. |
