Indianapolis, Indiana (September 17, 2018) – Juncos Racing announced today Rasmus Lindh will join the team for the Eighth Annual Chris Griffis Memorial Test this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Lindh is the final driver to be added to the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires line-up for Juncos Racing.

Swedish native Rasmus Lindh will make his first start in the Pro Mazda car this weekend on the 2.439 mile, 14-Turn road course. Lindh recently finished off a successful season in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Powered by Mazda earning two poles and five podiums to finish second in the championship.

Rasmus said, “I’m very happy to be joining Juncos Racing for this test. I have been paying attention to them all year. They have had a great year. It has also been my first full year in a open wheel car, which turned out to be a good year because I finished second in the USF2000 championship. Now we will focus on the test and see where our plans take us for 2019.”

Team Owner Ricardo Juncos said, “We are very happy to add Rasmus to the Pro Mazda program this weekend. He has a lot of talent behind the wheel. Rasmus had a very impressive first season in USF2000 where he finished second in the championship. We are looking forward to working with him this weekend and I am confident he will have a successful debut in the Pro Mazda Championship.”
