Indianapolis, Indiana (May 26th, 2019) – Juncos Racing ended their run early in the 103rd Running of the Indy 500 presented by Gainbridge with driver Kyle Kaiser finishing 31st overall in the NTT IndyCar Series.

A month filled with many highs and lows came to an end for the No. 32 250ok Chevrolet on lap 71 today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kaiser (Santa Clara, California) and the Juncos Racing crew had completed two flawless pit stops, and were setting a strong pace, when the No. 32 hit the wall and would end the race before the halfway mark. Kaiser was cleared and released by medical.

“Obviously, an extremely disappointing result for us after a such a wild month,” said Kaiser. “I really feel for the guys and all the work they put in for us all month. Not the result we were hoping for by any means. But, we can’t hold our heads down. We were competing out there and I’m so proud of the guys all month. Everyone can be so proud. Thank you for all the sponsors and everyone who came onboard this month. 250ok, NFP, GMR, Hagerty, River Plate Indiana, and so many more joined our effort and we are so proud to have represented them today.  This team has made great strides and only positive things ahead for us moving forward.”

Qualifying for the 103rd Running of the Indy 500 will always stand out for Juncos Racing, after the dramatic bump into the field of 33 came on the final lap for Kaiser.

“We were faced with so many challenges this month at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but gained so much at the same time after our final qualify attempt last Sunday,” said Team Owner Ricardo Juncos. “That moment has given our team so much momentum and memories that will never be lost. Even though we did not the get the finish we hoped for, we showed we had a strong car. I cannot thank the crew enough for giving everything they had into these last few weeks. They worked many long hours, even overnight, to make sure our car was on track. We have a lot to take away and be proud of despite our finish today. I would like to thank all of our amazing sponsors who jumped on board this week and for those who have stuck by our side throughout this experience. We have built a strong relationship with 250ok, Hagerty, NFP, GMR, Club Atletico River Plate,Campus/River, nextech, Mockett, The Mug, Lockhart Dentistry, subduction Coffee+Hemp, Indiana Spine Group, DB Kay & Associates, HUBBELL Racing, ClusterTruck, and all of those who supported us throughout this wild ride, and we look forward to what the future holds. We will continue to push and hope to be back on track in the NTT IndyCar Series this year.”
